Privacy Policy
The short version: your photos, journal and workout logs stay on your phone. We store only what's needed to run the challenge — your first name, Instagram handle and progress — and never sell your data or show ads. You can delete everything from inside the app at any time.
Who we are
Steadfast is made by Steadfast Challenge LLC ("we", "us"). Our mailing address is 1866 E Market St Ste C PMB 115, Harrisonburg, VA 22801. Questions about this policy: support@steadfastchallenge.com.
What stays on your phone
These are saved only on your device and are never sent to us unless you choose to share them (see "Transformation board" below):
- Your Day 1 and Day 30 progress photos
- Your daily journal entries (other than the Day 30 reflection if you submit your transformation)
- Your weight log and exercise check-offs
What we store on our servers
We use Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage) to run the app. When you start the challenge we store:
- Profile: first name, Instagram handle, difficulty level, starting bodyweight and your Day 1 goal statement
- Progress: start date, time zone, current day, days completed, holds used and missed days, and when you were last active
- "You're not alone" counter: which challenge day you're on and the date — used only to show how many people are on the same day
Only if you choose to use these features:
- Carry Someone (prayer requests): the request you write. Approved requests appear on the in-app prayer wall without your name and expire after 7 days.
- Day 28 invitation: the message you send, with your first name and Instagram handle, goes privately to Harrison.
- Transformation board (Day 30): if you submit your transformation, we upload your Day 1 and Day 30 photos, start and end weight, Day 1 goal and Day 30 reflection. If you choose to share it publicly, approved items are shown to other users who have finished the challenge, with your Instagram handle only if you opt in.
Purchases
Payments are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to confirm your purchase; it receives an anonymous app ID and your store purchase receipt — not your name or email.
Notifications
Midnight unlock and evening reminders are scheduled locally on your phone. No notification data is sent to us. You can turn them off in the app's Settings or your phone's settings.
What we don't do
- No ads and no advertising trackers
- We don't sell or rent your personal information
- We don't track you across other apps or websites
How we use your information
To run the challenge (unlocking days, tracking progress, the community features), to let Harrison personally encourage participants, to review community submissions before they're shown, and to fix problems with the app.
Who can see it
Harrison and anyone working directly on Steadfast can see the server data listed above. Our service providers — Google (Firebase), Apple, Google Play and RevenueCat — process data on our behalf. We may disclose information if required by law.
Deleting your data
In the app: Path tab → Settings → Delete my data. This erases your data from your phone and our servers. You can also email support@steadfastchallenge.com and we'll delete it within 30 days. Deleting your data doesn't cancel your purchase — you can restore it later with the same Apple or Google account.
How long we keep it
We keep your server data while you use Steadfast and for up to 12 months after your last activity, unless you delete it sooner. Prayer wall requests expire after 7 days.
Children
Steadfast is a gym program intended for people 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the app, contact us and we'll delete their data.
Health information
Steadfast is a fitness program, not medical advice. Bodyweight you enter is used only to show your progress. Talk to a doctor before starting any new exercise program.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
